About me
I started playing D&D around 1982 when I was twelve years old. Always thrust into the role of DM, I loved the game for its open sandbox approach with surprises around any corner. Ever the geek, the transition to online gaming has bridged the gap with the inability to find people to play in person. Let's slay some dragons.
GM Style
We're here to play and have a good time, writing our own adventure as we make it up along the way. I've found every session is unique, so some will be combat-heavy while others may not be. While I do like to role-play and give parties good puzzles, they must be there for good reason and help move the story along. I have a Discord server for audio and some live-stream video that I do. You won't need a camera, just a mic with headphones. You will need to make a character in dndbeyond and be ready to save the world.

Whit ran a delightful little one-shot with fun visual aids and NPCs that I wanted to find out more about. Everything was wrapped up in the time estimated. The atmosphere was very light and without any pressure. And he chose some fun items for us that corresponded with our characters. Overall, it was a fun experience!

Whit is a great DM. The story continued quickly as we went along and we kept changing our minds about things and Whit just had a great time with it, almost like he was glad we made odd choices. And the combat sessions were the best.

Whit is a great GM! I've played both short one shot campaigns and a long 2 year campaign (Curse of Strahd) with Whit. He does voices, has mood music that changes based on scene, is very quick to adjust / customize the campaign based on the needs / choices of the characters. The rules are there and important, but I really like that Whit concentrates on having fun and keeping things interesting rather that being 100% rules driven/focused. Every session is good time, so if you are looking to meet new people or get a group of your friends together for a campaign, you can't go wrong with Whit.
