About me
🎲 GM of 6+ Years 🎲 🎮 Indie Game Developer 🎮 🏳️⚧️Any Pronouns 🏳️⚧️ 🐉 Neurodivergent 🐉 Heyya, I'm Derg! I'm an Indie Game Developer, Digital Artist and GM. I love bringing worlds and ideas to life and enabling players to do the same with their own ideas. Being non-binary and neurodivergent, I want to make an inclusive space and world to play with folks! My main system is Pathfinder 2e, and I've been getting into Fabula Ultima recently as well! For now I'll only be running PF2e, but when I get more experience with Fabula Ultima, I hope to start up a table or two for those as well. I pride myself on system mastery and my game design skills to tailor campaigns to my players and to homebrew options for players that are balanced while letting them bring to life character ideas when official options aren't satisfactory. Completely AI art free, and when possible, I use my own art. Creator of AetherShot (In early access on Steam and itch.io!) Looking forward to seeing you at my table!
GM Style
⚔️ Memorable Combats ⚔️ 📜 System Mastery 📜 💻 Indie Game Developer 💻 📖 Collaborative Storytelling 📖 Combats are fun, and should be memorable! I pride myself on my ability to make balanced and interesting encounters using both vanilla and homebrew creatures and mechanics. I try to diversify encounter difficulties and types often to keep things interesting and allow for different ideas, builds and players to shine. Before I run games with a system, I ensure I have a high level of mastery for the system to know what the rules and guidelines are, and how and when to break them without breaking the game. I'm currently at that level of proficiency with Pathfinder 2e, and I'm working toward getting there in Fabula Ultima. Being a game developer, I have a lot of experience in all aspects of game and world design. I make most of my own maps, create art for major npcs and continually improve my setting for homebrew campaigns. Player choice matters to me, even in more linear campaigns. If choices don't matter, then I should just be writing a book instead! I very rarely turn down ideas outright, usually only when a decision causes a problem outside of them game, or if it would be fully antithetical to the premise of the campaign. I'm also committed to the safety and comfort of my players. I use the Lines and Veils system to avoid topics that players do not want to encounter, and have other systems in place in case something slips through. This is a place for fun, so everyone should feel welcome and safe here. Let's make some stories together, shall we?

I have played in several campaigns with Derg as the GM. Their ability to improvise and work with the players is second only to the skill on display when world building. Over the course of the most recent campaign the questions and mystery not only were fun to follow and investigate but had a fun conclusion. From main quest to side quest, it’s hard to find criticism anywhere in the narrative. They truly care about the player’s experience, and it shows in the quality of their work. If you care about the story, then you want Derg as your GM.
Derg is an amazing GM at building fascinating, rich worlds to explore and then giving parties full agency within it. They give clear narrative hooks that always lead down interesting paths, but it never feels like a railroad. I've also felt very comfortable at their table as a queer and neurodivergent player- they make sure to take the time to provide an accessible, inviting experience. They reward creative play, planning, and observation as they're fantastic at foreshadowing. They're always on your side at the table, even if the world is against you!
You won't find anyone nicer than Derg! No question is too basic or too complex for them, be it rules or help with character creation. They make sure that everyone is on the same page when it comes to what's allowed and what isn't, both in and out of the game, and as such nowhere is more comfortable than in their games. Top marks!
Absolutely fantastic GM! Derg weaves living, breathing worlds with interesting characters and great stories to follow. They are great at creating spaces for each player's character to shine without taking away from the story in general. Derg is also great at making everyone comfortable and has made sure to always help me if there was anything I struggled with because of English being my second language. Really fun games, great friendly space, 1000000% recommend!
I run six games a week, so my time is limited. When I do play, I keep coming back to Derg. They are a master at weaving PC narratives in to the grand scheme of the story, and I've never heard them turn down an idea at table (even when that idea has them scrapping the mid-session finale entirely...) An incredibly collaborative storyteller with mastery over her preferred systems, who also dedicates herself to creating a safe space for those around her. Not just one of my best friends, but one of the best GMs out there. Ask her about Violet for a story you'll never forget.
