About me

I am a professional educator who has helped hundreds of people roll up their first characters. I am deeply committed to introducing new players to the game I love, and I am skilled in making unfamiliar concepts easy for beginners. while still keeping games dynamic and engaging for veterans. I have a background in Medieval and Renaissance history, as well as theater, and bring all of it to support dungeon mastering a great game for you, I hope to see you at my virtual table soon!

GM Style

I like the games I run to focus on player choice, creative problem solving, and group actions having meaningful consequences. I favor roleplay over tactical combat, but I'm certainly ready to bring engaging tactical combat. Basically I like to focus on the experiences that you can not get out of a computer game, or any other game where you don't have a live person updating and redesigning the experience to react and adapt to your decisions and a group of other people to react off of. I also did graduate work in Medieval and Renaissance European history and I definitely bring a lot of that flavor to games.
