Macy is an incredible DM. She makes space for her players, actively engages in role-playing outside of game and is generally just a fan of us. If you are looking for an amazing level of rp and comprehensive npcs I cannot recommend her enough!

My friend and I decided to try out “Start.PlayingGames” and I’ve been a forever DM after my friend (Same friend) introduced me to D&D and I’ve been itching to play as a player after playing only a short amount of time. I found Macy’s campaign as we’re fans of CR’s Exandria. We decided to join for a short time, a few weeks at least... that was 7 months ago. It’s been a great first-time online experience playing at her table. the RPs, combat, narration, and campaign have been extremely enjoyable. I’ve had a character concept for awhile that I always wanted to try out. Which required an additional feat, and items. Macy has been a flexible DM, as long as it made sense and doesn’t break her game. I’m very happy with my character thanks to her. I’ve been very lucky to have Macy as my first online DM. If you come across one of her campaigns, my friend and I HIGHLY recommend joining. You will have an amazing time!

Macy is a fun, inviting, and very skilled GM. Provides a atmosphere that encourages immersion for a RP minded player, or for those wanting a more casual experience. Very supportive of any type of playstyle and provides seamless familiarity with the in game world (Exandria/Critical role FTW!) to help forge a story for one's character. Very approachable, and accommodating as a GM and as a Person. Would play with/join, anytime.

Macy is a great dm and allows her players to choose where the story goes it never feels like rail roaded.... she is easy going and fun to play with......5 stars would play again

Macy has taken Exandria and put her own home-brew twist into it while maintaining the lore of what makes Exandria so popular. The villains feel like they really are villains; the puzzles are tricky but revealing once figured out; the unique blend of magic items, spells and other effects that she allows the players to create and use is very in line with the "Matt Mercer" way of DMing/playing. While no one is Matt but Matt himself, Macy does an excellent job of following his lead in this wonderful world he has created for others to play in. Macy has created and maintains a very safe playing environment, allowing for all of us peeps to be ourselves and enjoy the great game of D&D. Even when we had a simple inter-party issue she was patient and understanding as the players worked through, and she has proven to be flexible when real life strikes the players and causes gaming issues. As a veteran player with more than a few years under my belt playing TTRPGs, I have to tip my hat to this young DM and acknowledge that she knows what she's doing. No obstacle has proven to big for her to overcome yet. I look forward to playing more adventures under her guidance! If she ever has an opening or starts up a new game, I urge you all to give her a try as your DM, I doubt you'll be disappointed!
