About me

I've been designing and running TTRPGs for 14 years: it's my passion in life. I specialize in play-by-post, political rpgs, heavy on story, world-building, and diplomacy. My games are highly player-driven, even in initial world-building. I find that by enabling player-creativity, the entire game becomes much deeper. Scheduling games is one of the biggest barriers to playing, which is eliminated by play-by-post. I always include optional live-sessions as well. I highly recommend play-by-post if you have a busy schedule and haven't tried it yet.

GM Style

My style is story focused, player-driven, and political. I love player creativity as its more engaging and creates a far richer world. I also encourage soft-PVP and hidden agendas. I will hide setting secrets in plain sight for those who are paying close attention. Genres I enjoy a variety (high/low fantasy, sci-fi, dieselpunk, etc.) and I always play custom settings, as opposed to modules. Thematically, my games tend to include moral ambiguity, intrigue, and a tinge of darkness.

The level of detail in his games is incredible. Even the smallest of player actions can add to the lore of the world, making everything feel as if it matters. This GM never skimps on a picture or journal entry, so you can really feel like you're an important character in this world. Also, the sheer volume of communication management is downright impressive. He manages to juggle player interactions for dozens of NPCs, while keeping track of everything every player is doing, even with no communication between players, for weeks at a time, with players taking actions at all times of day. Want to feel like you're in a real world, that responds to what you do in a realistic, cool fashion? Peter puts in the work to make it happen.

A very patient GM who will help you along each step wherever needed. And I absolutely loved inclusion of all, I was from a TimeZone half a world apart was still able to seamlessly feel included in world building and lore of the games I have played.

The games, while complex, offer incredible variety and flexibility, with DM allowing you to work on, or working with you in creating countries/nations in incredible ways. They are very open with it, and you are allowed great degree of freedom, of course, as long as it's plausible and fair to other players. You will have a lot of fun in seeing the world and its history revolve in the eyes of your nation, and you will more often than not spend days thinking of next optimal move, while still thinking as your character/nation. Fair warning, rules might be a bit too much when you start, but the game is not min-maxed in sense where there is hardly any optimal move that you need to think hard off, just resource management and action economy (you'll have hard time trying not to do five things a turn, trust me lol). If you ever wanted to lead nation, and its lead character into brand new world, made by you, other players and DM, this is hell of a game for you. I played so far two games (one ran for a few years so far, we're close to finishing it, now when I'm writing this), and the other is getting very saucy. Apply right away.

I've played several games with him. The Factions game is my favorite. It makes for a very fun diplomatic game with plenty of space for collaborative world building and interaction with other players and NPCs. It's ideal if you're looking for an fun play by post game.
