I have played in two games run by Poison in the past, and they are two of my favorite RPG experiences. She extremely adept at crafting a narrative around the choices and actions that your characters make. Finding a balance between telling an amazing story and allowing players to do as they wish is one of the hardest parts of being a GM, and Poison does it better than almost anyone I've played with. We could make any choice that suited us, and yet somehow Poison made it all seem like a well written, preplanned story.

A truly incredible GM! I cannot recommend Poison enough for anyone looking for a rich and rewarding roleplay experience. If you are looking for something beyond the same tired plot beats, and more than mere number crunching, look no further. Do you want to FEEL things? This is where you are going to get it!! The thrills, the anticipation, the dread, the triumphs... If I was connected to an EKG monitor while playing, my doctor would surely be alarmed. Her NPCs are so beautifully presented and dynamic; their suffering becomes your own, and even those that oppose and harass players will be endeared to you. TRUST ME........ Getting into character and putting yourself into the world will be highly rewarded. Complex problems (and believe me, there will be complex problems) allow for the most delightful bouts of creativity I've experienced in TTRPGs. Never once have I felt compelled to go by "I need to think about what my GM wants me to do." There is no stressful PC vs GM vibe: the only enemy you might contend with is your own indecision. Poison manages to thread the needle perfectly between "I'm having my hand held" and "I'm being punished beyond reason." Don't hold back on the good AND the bad of the character you choose to play, and you will have the time of your life. As far as the out-of-game aspects go, couldn't be happier! Punctual, great communication, always prepared, easy to talk to and fun-oriented. Really struck gold here... And for those who like to know: all this is coming from what is essentially a perfect stranger. For those wanting a deeper roleplay experience beyond just rolling dice, especially for L5R shenanigans, do yourself a favor!

Poison does an immaculate job at setting the scene and describing events taking place; makes great use of characters and subtle cues to help the players reach conclusions and realizations on their own. Encourages player freedom while still providing some guiding help.
