About me

🎲 Hi, I'm Liam – Your Friendly Neighborhood Dungeon Master! With over 6 years of experience and two long-running homebrew campaigns under my belt, I specialize in crafting rich, immersive worlds filled with deep lore, quirky NPCs, and story-driven adventures. My style leans heavily into roleplay (yes, with voices and accents), and I proudly subscribe to the Rule of Cool™ — because epic moments should never get bogged down by technicalities. While my regular groups gather in person, I'm fully equipped to bring the magic online through platforms like Roll20 and Discord. Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned adventurer, I focus on fun, collaborative storytelling where laughter, drama, and the occasional fireball go hand-in-hand.

GM Style

My games are all about story, style, and shared fun. I run fully homebrewed adventures with deep lore, quirky characters, and a world that breathes—no off-the-shelf modules here. But if your party longs for the streets of Waterdeep or the wilds of the Sword Coast, I can absolutely bring my homebrew flair to familiar Faerûn locales. Same immersive roleplay, same wild twists—just with names you might already know. Roleplay takes center stage in my sessions, and yes, that includes voices, accents, and the occasional overly dramatic villain speech. My worlds are open-ended and responsive to player choices, with a strong focus on collaborative storytelling. You’ll find a mix of exploration, character-driven moments, and cinematic combat—used with purpose, not just filler. I follow the “Rule of Cool” because I believe great stories beat rigid rules. My prep is intentional, but I leave space to improvise and follow wherever the players take the story. Whether you're new to D&D or a seasoned dice-roller, I’ll tailor the experience to fit your group’s vibe—fun, accessible, and always memorable.

Brilliant DM! Can't believe how good at setting the scene and acting out the NPC's he is. Also allows plenty creativeness such as letting you use usually damaging spells to do RP situations like when I created a temporary ice bridge with a ray of frost attacking spell.

I started out playing in a few of MrMandyPants' online campaigns, and now I'm part of one of their in-person campaigns—and it’s absolutely worth it. Each game strikes the perfect balance of creativity and fun. Whether you're new to D&D or a seasoned player, you’ll find yourself engaged and excited every session. MrMandyPants has a real talent for making everyone feel welcome and comfortable at the table, which creates a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere from the start. They fully embrace player creativity, encourage imaginative problem-solving, and keep the energy high with the "Rule of Cool" in full effect. Every session feels like a scene out of an epic story. The storytelling is top-notch: rich world-building, unforgettable NPCs (complete with fantastic and funny voices), and plots that pull you in and keep you coming back. If you're looking for a DM who truly knows how to run a great game, look no further.

Came well prepared to the game, crafted a rich world with interesting lore, have equal attention to all players, encouraged role-playing where possible but also didn't then ignore players who struggled with this, reasonable encounters at each level, good improv skills

Liam’s one of those DMs that just gets it. Like, you hop into a session and before you know it, you're totally pulled into the story. He’s great at creating moments that are hilarious one second and genuinely emotional the next. The way he rolls with our dumb ideas and still makes them feel important is honestly refreshing. I looked forward to those sessions so much, they felt like hanging out with friends and going on an adventure at the same time. Can’t recommend him enough.
