How Sharkness runs games
How Sharkness runs games Percentages Combat, Mystery, Roleplay. The usual players are most comfortable with is 30/10/60%, but where’s the fun in calculating that? I prefer if my players use all these categories in perfect harmony or each be proficient in one of them to diversify the party. Combat I’ve built characters that are insanely strong the average game master to handle. I know how martial classes and spell casters without relying on the book. I allow crazy feats with abilities, like flipping a cart using strength proficiency, or how ninjas in movies do stealth. It’s not just number crunching, there must be style for the way a character fights. If you do like fun, then that is the reason why you make strong characters too. I love flavoring attacks and weapons, and thinking outside the box without punishing any players *cough* unlike most game masters! *cough*. The enemies thrown at you… just don’t be scared. Think of them as a more satisfying way to get your victory! Mystery Always nice to work on mysteries and puzzles, but could never really find anyone brave enough to want a bit more challenging. Most of these mysteries are crime related, half the time mixing with magic. It goes hand in hand with my experiences on criminal justice (college). The puzzles, dodging traps on dungeon crawls, finding ways out of the escape room, hopefully I don’t drive you nuts with the things I come up it. Again, like from the last category, you can just brute force your way with strength proficiency, but please cleverly brute force your way! Roleplay As a voice actor, this is pretty much bread-n-butter. Improv is muscle memory, any range goes but is usually comedic. Usual hiccups for even harden roleplayers like political intrigue and economics are no problem for me. I’m looking for other people who like to make characters and shape their soul with careful writing and voice. I want you to bring your best characters in my games and act to your heart’s content. Use these games as an opportunity for you to exercise your acting ability.

When it comes to voices
I like to be different and try whenever as good vocal exercises. Maybe you’ll be surprised with my range. The characters I use as a player have even more passion put to them. Hopefully you get to meet them in my games.
Sharkness's ideal table
What I expect from my table Basics Human decency, being able to get along, no bad judgement, and being able to get along with anyone. No racism, no homophobia, obviously no sexism, and no generational feud. Don’t make fun of anyone’s interests, do not gossip or backtalk, and don’t think you are above anyone or ask for more respect than given. Additional game rules are added in the server, but it goes without saying that metagaming is disgraceful. Boundaries NSFW content is only permitted to +18 games. But understand that there are still limits to this. Don’t force yourself into anyone in or outside of the table, not even the NPCs. I’m not also talking about sexual content. Believing that you are above table rules, like indiscriminate assault against the players or random NPCs, will have me believe that you are underage due to lack of self-control. Freedom I mostly expect you to be funny with this freedom, not foolish. Using PvP to horseplay, rough-house, and light sparring is okay won’t have any consequences (damage) except for anything requiring a spell-slot. You can brute force your way through puzzles. You play as evil characters as long as they are stable and control themselves. Most importantly, and highly encouraged, use your imagination to flavor your character’s actions (backflips during combat movement, descriptive martial arts moves, etc). Please be wise with this freedom not given be many games. Opportunity #1 (Well-made characters) I’m looking for players who champion their characters in spirit and also in their abilities. There is a reason why the starting level range from level 7 to 16 in my games. Opportunity #2 (For the voice-actors) I look for voice actors alike myself, and therefore people who can write characters with confidence, carefulness, and consistency. So please give me your best shot, bring in your best characters and tell their tale.
