About me

Hello Adventurers, and welcome to my tavern! My name is Nox and I've been playing TTRPGs since 2016. I have even further experience in games due to my history with board games and card games, such as Magic the Gathering. I'm also a lifelong fan of fantasy, sci-fi, and horror, which I use as the foundation for the games I run. In the games I run, I like to keep a good balance between roleplay and combat, and there's never only one answer to the problems I present. And while keeping players immersed in the story is important to me, I also always consider how to make things fun for everyone from first-time questers to the most seasoned adventurer If you've been searching for an easygoing, inclusive, and all-around friendly DM, then please, take a seat at my table.

GM style

I like to keep a healthy balance between role play and combat, though I'll never try to push my players into any specific direction. I reserve the right to make the occasional call that may break a strictly-written rule, if I determine that it will make a better experience for the players (and makes sense within the world and the story). I wish I could do voices, but alas, I'm terrible at it. Regardless, I always make it clear you know who's talking. My table is LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC friendly. I have a zero tolerance policy for bullying other players in or out of character. If players have discussed a specific dynamic between their characters, go for it, we will never play in a way that makes things "fun" at the expense of someone's experience or feelings.
