About Nikolai

Hello and welcome! I'm Nikolai, a queer writer and gamedev from New England, and I wish we had rainstorms as often as we used to. With nearly a decade of tabletop experience, I'm thrilled to be able to step up to the plate and share my passion for the craft with you all. Years ago, I sat across from two friends in a dusty finished basement holding a rulebook I had barely read. They each had a filled character sheet, and we shared a single set of dice between us. What started as a clumsy, rambunctious little misadventure turned into a journey I could never have anticipated. We gathered more friends and created a tradition as we got through high school. Attending faires and conventions sparked my passion for costuming. New friends called on my love for roleplay and introduced me to the world of LARPing. I discovered a fascination with the unique ways different games accomplished their goals, and now I'm writing my own system. I use my years of eclectic experiences to bring my personal flavor to the settings I breathe life into. Whether it's damp catacombs and haunted cities, abandoned houses and local libraries, or rickety spaceships and exotic planets, I set the stage for players to show off their best tricks and create memories that will last a lifetime.
