About me

I've loved fantasy fiction since my stepdad first handed me a copy of A Spell for Chameleon by Piers Anthony. I started writing in the genre right away, and to this day I am a writer first and everything else second. I didn't start playing TTRPGs until college, when a friend introduced me to Pathfinder. From the very first session, I knew that the role of Game Master was the right one for me, and I started GMing soon after. I've been GMing D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e for seven years, using both homebrew and pre-written modules. I consider myself an "over-prepared GM," but if there's one thing I've learned, it's that nothing goes according to plan! Some call a high-fantasy medieval setting boring and stale. I call it classic and nostalgic, but that doesn't mean I'm married to it. I love all fantasy and even scifi, regardless of setting or sub-genre. While my experience with D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e makes me an ideal GM for those games, I love exploring new TTRPGs with interesting mechanics and themes. I look forward to playing with you!

Roleplay and exploration are my favorite parts of gaming, but I also love tactical combat. I do character voices about 80% of the time.
