About Nikandros

Hello, I’m Nikandros! I’ve been involved with TTRPG’s since 2014 starting with 3.5e during Uni as my first experience while I was studying Philosophy. I run an inclusive table. I am also in the PST time zone. I like presenting players with challenges but also giving them options to explore in my games, and always root for for them to overcome said challenges. Most of my games deal with more ideological situations. I always try to hear out ideas my players have and want to include in the game and work with them to see how I can incorporate it, usually settling for at least a compromise that makes everyone happy. I make campaigns where I want you, the players, to feel like the heroes of the stories, and never want it to feel like its a DM versus players situation. I have no problem with indulging in power trips, optimization, battles of will/ideas/beliefs, creative problem solving, and use of lore. Finally and importantly, I am not a DM who kills characters trivially. I believe that a moment of character loss should be impactful to the story, and while I can't promise it won't ever happen, I encourage high character investment and a few bad rolls into oblivion doesn't feel rewarding to me, nor the players now does it?
