Greetings adventures! My name is Al, and I would love for you to join me in creating unforgettable games that feel so tangible it's like you're actually visiting undiscovered realms within our very own fantasy world. Your imagination will be your greatest weapon as we explore, create, and morph the existence of our universe with every session. We will dive deep into your character's backstories so every player feels a sense of connection with their companion as our campaigns evolve. Truly creating a lifelong connection with your character and players that embark alongside you on this journey. This is the type of setting I love to cultivate, and I utilize my life experience and professional skills to achieve unique games and experiences. I tend to break my GM style into two broad categories, directed combat and adventuring. I spent several years as a boxing coach and personal trainer, which allows me to make the most tactical and engaging combat possible while staying true to the parameters of 5th edition. On the other hand, my sense of dedication to world building and storytelling comes from my love of all things gaming and fantasy. By blending these styles, players can have the best of all gaming aspects and receive fun and engaging stories with the ability to achieve seemingly unthinkable combat interactions. I highly value player input and do my best to customize every session and game to the people who really matter, the adventures! Through the utilization of tools like session 0 and between session communications, I find my players are the ones who often drive the biggest advancements in my games. With 12 years of ttrpg experience, my goal is to make sure everyone walks away from the table with strong positive emotions looking forward to next week.

GM style

In my opinion, the best games are those set in a living world where the players have complete control. The world will react to your decisions as if every NPC was another player behind the scenes. There will not be any decisions "off-limits" as your choices are the center of the story and should be embraced and directly influence what's going on in the world.
