About Patrick [Pankration Dork]

Hey y'all đź‘‹ My names Pat and I've been a DM for8 years I'm a big history and mythology dork who grew up on Percy Jackson and more recently enjoyed the poetic/prose Eddas and Epic the musical. I bring those inspirations with me into my games. Was a wrestler growing up so I've got a big passion for fitness and martial arts that always motivate me and will get be yapping for too long. i'll leave at this for now and just say id love to see ya at the next session, and may the dice god's favor you My games are a safe place for all. Don't bring that hateful shit to my table.

How Patrick [Pankration Dork] runs games

Mythic adventures that put your character in the foreground of the world. You're not the hero of the story by random chance or convince. It's because either from your own will or that of the fates themselves you are central to what happens in the story. My games lean a little on the goofy side and I'll try and get a couple good laughs each session but when the time calls for it games can get emotional, and I will treat epic or sad moments with the gravitas they deserve. I use a lot of voices through the games and really try to roleplay with feeling. The NPC's you meet have their own hopes and fears and I do my best to make the world feel immersive. -oh and I love homebrew and cool magic items/boons, so if 20 sessions in you don't have a cool Item/ability tailored to your character may Zeus smite me

Patrick [Pankration Dork]'s ideal table

- A relatively smaller table 3-5 players is great but for me 6+is just to many for a campaign. - A group that's invested in both their own characters story and moments but also everyone else at the table

I think min/maxing...

Can be fun as long as it doesn't completely overshadow the party, you give me a little heads up for a crazy build, make sure they are still a character and not just big numbers on a page.

My table is not the place for...

Being a bigot
