About me

I'm a creative, enthusiastic and supportive DM. I have run over 150 games in the past 3 years, including a campaign that ran for over 40 sessions. That means all my experience is actually relevant! I'm a Pro DM, who also trains new DMs in a small online community. Additionally, I am a published author, writing adventures for third party kickstarters and patreons.

GM style

I pride myself in ensuring high production values and making things as smooth and immersive for my players wherever possible. I also work hard to match the experience (flow, challenge, balance etc) to the preferences of my players, and ensure more than anything that everybody has fun! I'm mid 30s and a father to a 6 year old - I'm not sure whether my daughter or D&D players have taught me more patience! 🙂 What I am sure of is that I value my time, and I'm sure you do too - that's why I'm organised and have invested so much time setting up easy-to-use automation in my games for both myself and my players. I have also built (and organised!) an extensive library of maps, assets, art, adventures, and other goodies that help turn a good game into a great game; fast. And if I still can't find what I need I'll make it (maps, narrative, character descriptions) or commission it (music, character art). Production Value I deliver the experience I would want to receive as a player! Including: - Custom maps - Dynamic lighting where it makes sense - Environmental music with relevant localisation - Token actions and APIs to streamline combat and take care of admin for the players - Sensible pacing with additional support for newer players to help the group get the most out of every session
