About me
I started my D&D adventures at 11 years old during 2nd Edition by hauling a Bull into a skeleton-infested building and attempting to chop its' nuts off to enrage it and kill all the skeletons. That should inform you about my DM'ing style! My DM style is roughly 40% planning and 60% improvisation, with a heavy focus on utilizing technology to its fullest. I create high-quality detailed custom maps so you don't have to listen to long-winded explanations of scenes. Also utilizing dynamic lighting from Roll 20, I'm able to really limit the amount of metagaming to provide a more realistic experience! I love humor in D&D. Laughing with your party is the most memorable way to play in my opinion.
GM Style
I love roleplay, tactics, and creativity! I feel that rules are there as a solid guideline and are not always meant to be followed 100% of the time. Rules should never get in the way of an amazing storyline! Recommended ages 18+ for my sessions, I don't mind good-natured cursing or dark humor. I use Roll 20 maps, D&D Beyond character sheets, and Beyond 20 integration to send your rolls to the VTT.

Rule of Cool
Mitch has a clear passion for gaming and dm'ing making his sessions fun and engaging. He encourages player ideas and is flexible in his planning to ensure players have agency over the story. The rules are flexible under his style making any player or dm created situation open to inventiveness and imagination. Maps, music, and sound effects are used well by Mitch and help with immersion. He'll make you think and doesn't pull punches, but runs a satisfying session.
I've played in two games run by Mitch, the first was a dungeon crawl and the second was a homebrewed wuxia inspired game, both were well planned and executed through roll20. From my Kobold losing a leg and then crafting a peg leg out of a chair to a party member wielding a flaming sword with oven mitts of heat resistance. Mitch enjoys creating wild situations and rewards creative problem solving.
Mitch puts a lot of thought into crafting his world and individual campaigns. He extremely solid on the tech side, and is well versed on the rules, allowing for flexibility where needed / prudent, so the game flows, and the action keeps moving. Mitch is proactively seeks out constructive feedback to improve and evolve the gaming experience. From one DM to another, Thank you! :)
