About MazFateGM
Hey all! I primarily go by Maz as short, or James for those who would prefer my real name. I've been a DM/GM for the past 8 years now running games in both Pathfinder 1E and Dungeons & Dragons 5E; however, in the last 2 years I've swapped my focus to solely to D&D 5E. The biggest thing about me as a DM is that I'm chill and relax, and make sure to create inclusive environments so that everyone has a safe place to play a wonderful game. Beyond that one of my favorite experiences as a DM is running games specifically for new players to help introduce new players to the wonderful hobby that I've spent so many years playing now.

How MazFateGM runs games
As a GM I don't typically do voices for characters, but focus more on the setting, world building, and try to set the party up for interesting interparty roleplay opportunities. A general rule of thumb I always try to include is to tie character backstories to the campaign so that the players can immerse themselves into the world better. As far as a balance of Roleplay/Combat my games typically sit around 40/60 - 30/70; however, this can be adjusted depending on the parties preference when we discuss during Session 0.
