Hey my name is Matt Layne and I run D&D 5E games!
GM Style
I’m all about players and the stories they want to tell!! I am very player and story focused and want you and the rest of your party to have fun and tell your stories. A lot of these pro DMs are more focused on their setting and how things should go and prep way too much leading to a lack of flexibility where I’m like water and can make anything fit anywhere and I try not to be overbearing with my own personal style instead I become a reflecting pool for the table and what they want. Want a positive cutesy adventure ? Done. Want a hyper violent body horror adventure? I can do that too. Both? Sure thing, It might be a little tonally dissonant but why not!? My personal style is wild but my public style is whatever you want me to be your the customer here and paying so what I want to be is irrelevant. Oh yeah most importantly I’m fun and it will be a good time!!
