About me
I've been playing TTRPGs for 6 years and DMing 5th edition DnD for the past 5 of them. I typically run deadly and challenging games with experienced groups or a traditional fantasy epic for newer players. I've introduced 20+ people to DnD, including several kids.
GM Style
Left to my own devices I like challenging and deadly games, but my greatest joy is helping other people have fun. I love world building and spend my free building my own multi-continent world and economy. I'm happy to get into the weeds about how many chickens a village has or keep things vague. I like battlemaps when the time comes, but I don't see the point in breaking out all the gear for a 5 minute encounter. I do my best ro stay flexible and give players a good time.

Matthew is a fantastic story-teller who provides a very believable setting and interesting quests/challenges. I really like that he allows for an element of risk, i.e. your character won't always live if you do dumb stuff. He has built out an incredibly rich, detailed world that evolves over time with lots of places (of very differing character) against which to set scenarios. Definitely recommend this guy!

Matthew is a very patient and open DM who is always ready to support new players and challenge seasoned ones. He excels at balancing fun/lighthearted DND moments with more serious/challenging ones, creating a well-rounded and enjoyable gaming experience. He introduces lots of fun/memorable NPCs, is very thoughtful with worldbuilding and is super adaptable to player choices. 10/10.

Matthew is an incredibly creative DM. He created an incredible world for us to adventure in and made the game challenging and fun. He knew the rules of the game and was very helpful for new players (like me) to learn them while playing alongside veteran players. He allowed for a wide variety of characters and gave advice when we created them and when leveling up.
