From your character creation, to the haunted dreams you receive a dozen sessions in after telling the GM you're considering multi-classing in Warlock, Matt is there to give your story the context that makes you want to succeed and the challenge that makes that success feel awesome. I've played multiple characters with Matt as my GM and whether their parts were small or monumental, they were all given a level of time and depth that would make every session a joy to play. Consistently a highlight of my week!

Matt builds an impressive world to explore, with varied characters and scenarios. He takes your character and builds the story around them. He also makes incredible maps and characters to help with gameplay! Fun to play and a great guy!

It was difficult to only choose three (3) tags, because Matt is exceptional at so many different aspects of GMing. He is incredibly knowledgable about the rules and world lore, but also allows for characters to make creative choices. He further allows for customization of the world to better suit the characters and their backstories. He does entertaining voices for many different characters and really attempts to immerse players in the world. Above all, Matt strives to create an entertaining, safe, and open-minded atmosphere while ensuring everyone's voices are heard. If you are looking for a great GM, look no further than Matt!

Matt's ability to follow the rules, but also shape them in a way to support player creativity is unparalleled. In an age of PC role playing games being able to have the flexible creative experience only tabletops can provide is what I always seek as a player, and Matt does not disappoint. Even when thrown curveballs he is quick to adjust to keep the story moving forward while simultaneously allowing the player to do what they want (for better or worse). Matt's pacing, storytelling, and teaching abilities are also phenomenal so no player feels left out for being new to the game or campaign setting while veteran players will be able to feel they are able to use their full knowledge of game mechanics. Overall, Matt is without a doubt the best DM I have had the pleasure to play with.

Matt has always catered to our party's incentives. Not that we'd just "get what we wanted". If we had decided to forgo the obviously main quest objective and open up an alchemical reagents shop, laundering money on the side we knew that he would put in just as much effort into making our little shop tale full of intrigue, surprise, and adventure.

Matt does an amazing job of including your characters backstory in his world building and weaving everyone’s story together to create really rich plot lines! I am honestly in awe many times when a plot twist happens or a character from someone’s back story makes an entrance, it makes it so fun to come back week after week and see where the story will go next!
