About me

I've been running games in 5e, StarFinder, and finally PathFinder Second Edition for four or five years. I got into DND through 3D printing, having seen all the elaborate minis. From there, I moved online, as did many, with Covid, and have stuck to it. I'm a computer person by nature, going for a computer science major, enjoying endless hours playing video games, or just fooling around with tech in general. To that end, it's a fair assumption I'm doing something on a computer, be it coding my own game or mods, scrolling endlessly in a rabbit hole, or sucked into the depths of whatever game currently has caught my eyes. I've toyed with my own custom setting for ages, although I am planning to run games set outside it, I like to give each setting I use the same level of detail and research.

GM Style

I tend to run a game with roleplay, intermixed with heavy mechanics, running both extremes. I am told by my players, I use all the rules that they rarely see, relying on exploration, and other mechanics that rarely come up. I fell in love with Foundry pretty swiftly, and through countless hours of tweaking, have made much of my setup my own, with its unique of modules. I've further automated anything that requires tedium I could manage to simplify, tracking ammunition, persistent damage, and so on. I've added my share of fun modules as well, such as Dice So Nice, allowing replicating rolling dice with animations, or Splatter, letting enemies bleed, and plenty more. While I'm not the best at voices, it doesn't mean I can't try, doing my best efforts to give each character a personality, which can be amusing, either cause I succeed, or because I am fully open to looking like a fool, so long as it amuses someone. On the mechanical side, I've always picked up systems well, so I can offer up countless hours reading them for no real gain. Any system I run, I tend to either know the rules, or know exactly where to pull up the rule I so need.
