About me

My goal is to allow you to escape the real world for a few hours as you let your mind wander free in a brand new fantasy world. As your guide on this magical journey, I will build the foundation for you and your group's every heroic action, exploratory urge, and crazy shenanigan. With 5 years of D&D experience as both player and DM, my aim is to provide you a seamless session of fun. Whether you're new to the game or an experienced veteran, I'll lay the groundwork and help navigate the nuances and constraints so that you can focus on exploring, role-playing, and fighting! I bring with me a love for vivid descriptions and a penchant for "creative problem solving" (i.e. making the rules work so that you can do that awesome thing you're thinking off) so I'll make sure you feel immersed in the world with as few limitations as possible. GM Style

My biggest strength is description. I love making places, people, and objects come to life. Finding that balance between strong visualization and over-describing scenes has been a fun journey for me, and I feel confident that I'm close to the sweet spot. Roleplay is my favorite of the 3 D&D pillars, and I'm always happy to lean more into that with NPCs or give players the room to RP between themselves. My 3rd strength is getting creative with the rules and limits to give players freedom. I personally play D&D for fun, and doing something epic is way more fun than being told no. So whether it's homebrew or coming up with something on the fly, I love to find ways to let my players pull of awesome moments. Lastly, I aim to adapt my style and sessions to the needs and wants of my players. I view myself as a guide to the game, and it is my job to make sure the game delivers on what the players find fun. So you can expect me to ask what you like and dislike, and then try and fit that into the game.
