Hi there! I've GM'd for over two decades, cutting my teeth on old World of Darkness games in the late 90s and throughout the 2000s, growing into DnD 5e during COVID and the enormous influx of new players into the medium. I've since returned to the dark and dreary with my current favorite system, Call of Cthulhu! There's no better way to spend a night than exploring horror tropes with a group using their minds and ingenuity to escape from certain doom, or fail together as you greet a new dawn of an endless malevolent void. My GM style favors players who think outside of the box (and completely ruin any plans I had), and I am well experienced in guiding new players into ttrpgs. In these tend to step back and allow new players to feel out the flow of the game, while serving friendly reminders on their capabilities and character options (just remember, having the ability to do something, doesn't mean you should. FIREBALL!).

GM Style

I favor roleplay, exploration, and investigation over crunchier combat-driven campaigns. When combat does happen, I prefer dynamic action scenes, which push forward the scene, rather than a dice slog eating up an hour of game time. Character voices are fantastic, but I understand that that can be outside of a lot of people's comfort zone, so I prefer to err on the side of a player's comfort level. I welcome diversity among my players and celebrate different perspectives on all things, barring that which promotes hate.
