About me
Every great adventure starts at a tavern but yours? It starts with me. Hey there everyone, My name is Min and welcome to my profile. Tabletop Roleplaying Games have been my passion for years - ever since I was in college 10 years ago and since then, I've been playing it and even running some campaigns and one-shots for my friends. As a part-time voice actor and a theatre kid, I won't shy away from getting into character and making different voices for them to make sure my players feel more immersed in the world/settings. With my background in a customer-facing role, I am also extremely patient with newer players interested in starting their first adventure. I understand that D&D and other Tabletop RPGs have a bit of a learning curve but with me as your DM, you don't have to feel afraid of anything as I'm always happy to help. Your fun is my promise. Thanks for reading and I look forward to the honor of being your DM.
GM Style
Roleplay-heavy and narrative-driven GM I love roleplaying and my greatest strength when it comes to being a GM is that I like to focus more on the roleplay aspect of the game such as integrating your backstories into the world and making voices for the NPCs. I am also an enjoyer of tactical, crunchy combat as well. With me as your GM, you can have an equal mix of both at my table and later on, we can focus on the aspect you enjoy the most.

What made the session truly great was the immersive storytelling woven by our Dungeon Master, Mint, who skillfully crafted a captivating narrative that kept us all on the edge of our seats. The collaborative aspect of the game was fantastic, as each player was encouraged their unique creativity and imagination to the table, leading to unexpected twists and turns that made the adventure all the more exciting.
A great GM with a heavy emphasis on roleplaying and improvised storytelling. I played with Mint on two separate modules for Kult: Divinity Lost. The first time, as a newbie, I was still getting the hang of the mechanics, but was able to quickly get used to the system with ease since he GMs with more of a 'yes, and...' approach than strictly following the rules and limitations of either the system of the module. Even using a pre-generated character, I did not feel limited to a certain way I "should" be playing and could adapt it to my own. Kult being a dark narrative game and setting, we did have one player essentially needing to pause the game for a breather. Mint did not hesitate to pause, discuss with the player if they would like to continue or not, and we were all able to play with what we were comfortable with. The second time around, the players and I went on heavy tangents that were not necessarily relevant to the plot (but felt relevant to the characters). I doubt any of the time we spent on roleplaying shenanigans was in the module, but we never felt forced to continue the plot and had nice scenes we could play out to flesh our characters and their relationships out with one another. Even with more newbies to the system this time around, and intermittent technical difficulties players can have with VTT, Mint was patient and helpful with all of us as we adapted to either new VTTs and systems. I would say in terms of playstyle, Mint gives players the freedom to explore both their characters and options in terms of roleplay and gameplay mechanics. He used a good amount of visuals mixed from the official modules but also quickly just sketched out the maps in VTT to give us a better lay of the land when we needed it. That, combined with (optional) music choices, it was easy to enjoy the game and enjoy the vibes.
What was great about the game was the active involvement of the DM, their exceptional description skills that brought the game world to life, their commitment to fairness in gameplay, and their reliability in ensuring smooth and enjoyable sessions. In addition to those qualities, this DM also fostered a supportive environment that encouraged character creativity. They were open to diverse character concepts and allowed players to express themselves freely within the game world. This inclusivity helped newcomers, like myself, feel welcomed and empowered to explore the game mechanics and develop unique characters. Furthermore, the DM's patience and willingness to guide beginners through the intricacies of the Kult system greatly enhanced the overall experience. Their clear explanations and helpful guidance ensured that I could grasp the rules and mechanics without feeling overwhelmed. This supportive approach not only facilitated a smooth learning curve but also instilled confidence in all of the players, making us eager to delve deeper into the world of Kult. I highly recommend him to host your next game as my experience was fantastic.
