About me

Welcome! My name is Adam and I have been DMing D&D 5e weekly for 10 years with two different groups. In recent, I've been running FATE games at my LGS. I also run an RPG-focused YouTube channel - Mad Mage Crafting - where talk about this wonderful hobby! INCLUSIVE GAMING: My expectation is that each player will behave with common decency toward other players and the DM. This includes sharing the spotlight, running with the story, and keeping engaged with the game. I also use lines and veils as safety tools. Please message before the game if you have specific lines (i.e., please keep (x) out of the story) or veils (i.e., (x) can happen but please fade to black for the happening). Without providing an exhaustive list, my games tend to run at a PG-13 up to R rating. To get the most out of my games, please come with the following: - A solid character concept - A good sense of narrative to aid the group's storytelling - A sense of humor b/c plans may go sideways - A tactical wit b/c combat can be deadly - A readiness to help your team against the challenges they face TECHNICAL INFO: I run games with Zoom and Owlbear Rodeo. This is a simple, free set up to avoid technical issues and fees. I encourage players to game with cameras on to provide visual cues to the group. However, I do NOT require cameras to be on to play.

GM style

I am animated, do voices, and run character-centered games. My games balance social interaction, exploration, and combat. I believe in the rule of cool.
