About me
Logan || He/Him Located in Halifax, UK but running online games for all time zones! I’ve been playing and running D&D for a decade now, my favourite games to run are high adventure with a medium amount of combat. Most games will be homebrew in my own world that you can read about here: https://www.worldanvil.com/w/rek-tran-logan Beginner and veteran-friendly games and a safe gaming space for Queer players Please contact me if you have any questions on here or at Logan.#4332 on discord
GM Style
Worldbuilding will make or break a story, so I tend to lean towards more adventure > action campaign. I like letting the rule of cool pass for brilliant ideas allowing players to have their "Cinematic" moments and rewarding smart plays. that being said if your smart play is building a PC that can squash anything in front of it, I will love your character just as much as a person who remembers every NPC's favourite drink. The story is more important then RAW, if you can make a good argument as to why you should be able to do something, you bet I'll go with it!

Awesome, chill, and super creative DM. 5 stars for putting up with all our shenanigans (especially our artificer’s war crimes). His flexibility when it comes to player creativity (eg. making stupid combat moves, making custom weapons by our artificer for the party etc.) is great, and imo it greatly helps players feel like the world that they are interacting with is real. The vibe during sessions is fantastic, though sometimes it's so good we end up chatting about random stuff / our interests for 30 minutes before we can start playing. But honestly, he's a top-notch DM, and I couldn’t be happier to recommend him!
My first campaign is with Logan and I've absolutely loved the experience. He has made me feel very included, even though I am a beginner. His world building is crazy thorough and he always has a response ready when you read a library book or roll a history check. He mentioned he has been working on the world of Rek Tran for years and I believe him. It's not all world building though, I've had some really fun combat sessions too. The highlight was when my level 6 paladin was able to beat a cocky level 20 barbarian/warlock in single combat. It was super cool! Logan also works with the PCs to incorporate their backstory into the world. I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store for my character. Logan has some amazingly gorgeous building interior images that really help with world building. Othe GMs usually just have maps, or will just use theater of mind for a tavern. For example, Logan had a tavern where everything was carved wood and colorful magic lanterns that were actually memories that you gave the tavern keeper in lieu of money.
Expect both great rewards for high rolls and bad punishments for bad rolls. A fair and interesting world that doesn't feel plain and exists only to tell the story of the party. It feels like we are just a small part of the world and can get screwed any moment. It's great, lots of fun while also lots of moments of panic.
