About me
I have run a little over 4k game sessions, in a little over 25 years, and across hundreds of different systems. I do not create "Storylines" I create NPC's and situations, then react to what the players do and say. I love to try and visually represent the story on the screen using Foundry VTT. I do not talk much in character, and preferer to tell the story. If you are looking to try a new game, something other than Dungeons & Dragons, and some unique concepts in story telling. Still new to this "Paid" gm'ing thing and looking to do games I know and understand with some unique worlds.
GM Style
I react to the players actions and the story their questions create, I do not have anything pre-written. I do not talk in character much and prefer to stick to the descriptions.

Seth is a badass. I could talk all day about this guy but I’ll keep it short. Out of game he's very understanding, respectful, and plain great to talk about regular life stuff. His table is a welcoming place for people of all stripes. The other players I got to play with at his table were fantastic people who I became fast friends with. As a GM, he's quick witted and able to react to players deviating from the game plan. Players are given a lot of autonomy on what actions or paths to take. However, inexperienced players won’t ever be lost as they’re not sure what to do. An excellent example is in a modern Shadow of the Demon Lord campaign he ran. At one point we were planning to ambush a group of monsters at a police armory. He mentioned a mall across the street as flavor text and of course we all went to check it out. The guy takes a couple of beats then busts out a whole map with NPC happenings, plot stuff, and monsters waiting. It was awesome. After the session we asked if he’d planned that encounter in case we went to the mall. Nope. It was totally unexpected and he put it together right off the cuff. Amazing. This is thanks in part to his insane set-up he has for games. He uses Foundry VTT and projects the maps/action from his desktop onto a projector screen. Meanwhile, there’s background music playing from a stereo in the middle of the player’s side of the table. And that’s not even the most insane part. Every player has a laptop or computer they can individually use to move their character across the map, check the handbook, etc. It’s totally bonkers. Plus the table is in this cozy little gamer den filled with collectibles on display and posters. Also he has cats and dogs that will let you pet them, if that sweetens the pot. Some other things. If there's a place you want to be at, character wise, he'll help steer you where you need to go to get there. He’s also perfect for people who want to learn/try different systems. His wide range of different systems, settings, books, and just TTRPG as a medium makes it so he has a TTRPG for basically any story idea, setting, or mechanic you can think of. Wanna play a wandering ronin and the village women trying to seduce? There's a game for that. How about a team of lesbian swordfighters in space? There you go! Maybe play as a Pokemon trainer with a kaiju-sized Pokemon??? He WROTE that one. So far I’ve played Shadow of the Demon Lord, Exalted, and the Strands of FATE systems with him. He explained everything well and provided resources so I could understand everything. To wrap things up, it’s like I said in the beginning. What’s best about Seth is how great of a person he is. Not just to play with but to interact with as a person. He’s a welcoming, understanding, and hilarious person out of character while a quick-witted, patient, and badass GM in game. In short: he’s an excellent GM and a better friend.
Seth is amazingly creative. He puts so much thought and effort into preparing for game sessions, and likes to do a wide variety of game themes. He always has great graphics and music to set the mood and add authenticity to the experience. Sometimes he creates mini-puzzles within the game that the players need to solve. He is whip smart and generally knows the rules of each game system he is using inside and out. Seth is also absolutely reliable with game scheduling. Finally, he is very kind and generous with helping inexperienced players with character design and creation. You should have a great time with this game master.
Seth is a fun GM that really puts in the effort to make his RPGs great. I have seen him take some basic premises and ideas of what they want from the players and expand it into a huge and interesting world. I have never played a game with him where he didn't include a bunch of fun home-brew items, monsters, puzzles, and memorable NPCs. We have played with a variety of RPG systems, ranging from Dungeon World and DnD 5e to Nova Praxis and Burning Wheel, and plenty of others. Settings have ranged from modern day to post-apocalypse, to hard sci-fi, to classic fantasy. I have raided a horrifying Willie Wonka candy factory, raided starships, became a Cthulian horror, and fought gods. He also makes sure to keep all of the players involved in the goings on and is more than willing to help players having difficulties with rules or character creation. Everyone gets a chance to have their backstory matter and to influence the direction of the plot. I have seen Seth give options we could go when we were stuck, but he has never railroaded us in a specific direction or plot. If you play a Seth game, be prepared to have a rich, story focused and interactive experience.
