About Andy
Stay awhile and listen, friends! I’m Andy! I'm a father, husband, the creator of Knuldu, and your dedicated Master of Games. With nearly a decade of TTRPG experience, I’ve embraced the role of forever GM since the early days of the pandemic. My passion for fantasy and roleplaying (ignited by my father, The Hobbit, and the golden age of Blizzard Entertainment) fuels my storytelling. The world of Eberron provided the spark that ignited my love for custom settings, culminating in a passion project called Knuldu. I believe that while everything has been done before, there’s always room for a unique spin on what inspires you. While I’ve honed my craft in Dungeons & Dragons 5E, I’ve transitioned to the 2nd Editions of Pathfinder and Starfinder. I'm blessed with a personal gaming group with a commitment to the session that allowed us to enjoy dozens of adventures together. Life changes have opened the opportunity for me to "play make believe" for a living, and with the support of my family, I hope to bring the joy my table has shared to others. Join me on an adventure and let's build unforgettable stories together!

I became a GM because
I got bored playing just one character and would constantly find reasons to kill off or retire them, much to my GM's displeasure. When the opportunity to fill the slot behind the screen showed up I dug in immediately and have loved the variety of play ever since!
When I'm not running games I'm...
Working. No but seriously, either reading, spending time with my family, or playing video games. I have a passion roleplaying games of course, but I'm also deep into the complex web of Paradox games. If I'm looking to sweat though: Marvel Rivals.
How Andy runs games
I use a combination of Foundry VTT and Discord to bring my games to life in a lighthearted and relaxed enviorment. I thrive on running augmented Adventure Paths and using their solid framework to craft unique campaigns tailored to your group and the story we tell. Whether that be in published settings or my personal ever-expanding world of Knuldu, no two campaigns are the same. Some might find running the same AP over and over boring, but I'm fascinated by the unique experience each party can bring to the table. 🎭Roleplay🎭 I love doing voices for my NPCs and matching the energy of my players. Your character's beliefs, struggles, and victories are paramount to any game and story we tell. Working together, we'll expand upon your backstories with flashbacks, cameos, and other appropriate narrative devices. I never do DMNPCs, but instead focus on building NPCs you're excited to call friends and foes. ⚔️Combat⚔️ Since the systems I run are centered around combat, this aspect of the game is a main focus and one that I deeply enjoy. Tactical gameplay is important for survival, and retreat is always an option at my table. Customized battle music, spell effects, and other helpful mods, while some might find distracting, streamline and enhance this experience in my opinion. 📖Worldbuilding📖 I love utilizing music and art handouts to establish the atmosphere. I've created in-game newspapers, songs, and holiday events to bring the world alive for my players. Inspired by comics, I envision an interconnected universe where new characters can be inspired by past adventures. 🫵🏼🫵🏼🫵🏼KNULDU NEEDS HEROES LIKE YOU🫵🏼🫵🏼🫵🏼 I'm more than happy to run adventures in published settings like Golarion or the Pact Worlds of Starfinder, but my greatest passion lies in Knuldu. Primarily inspired by the Warcraft and Eberron settings, Knuldu is a custom setting where every character and every story contributes to the world’s growth. Your influence can be as grand or as subtle as you desire.

I deal with rules issues by...
Finding a quick solution in the moment to keep the game rolling forward. We can find a permanent solution either post game or during downtime I say.
If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
I'd love to say Scorsese, Spielberg, or heck even Tarantino...but its probably closer to Michael Bay or if I'm lucky George Lucas in the prequel era. Bring the popcorn, it'll be fun I swear.
My favorite trope is...
MACGUFFINS HANDS DOWN. Collecting the half dozen or so shiny baubles before the bad guys do is peak. Avengers, Jackie Chan Adventures, all the best stuff! Bonus points if we run a side campaign as the minions of the bad guys, securing the mcguffins and setting up the context of future engagements.
Andy's ideal table
My table is relaxed with a focus on the story and having a good time. Appropriate references may lead into fanboy tangents from time to time, but I like to try and keep the game flowing unless we're vibing for a minute.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
- Eberron - Warcraft - Star Wars - Marvel/DC Comics - "Millennial Media"
I love it when a player
Takes notes and asks questions about the world. Really just diving into the fantasy that we're playing and respecting the medium we use to tell stories. Its hard to keep a plot alive across multiple weeks without group investment.
I think min/maxing...
Works best when everyone is onboard. Nothing is worse than the one or two players that literally roll over everyone else. If you're going to min/max, bring the whole party with you. That way the TPK is earned on all sides LoL.
