About me
I go by Wren, Kitty or Katherine. I've been a storyteller, DM, and GM since 1992. I cut my teeth on Rifts and Macross II by Palladium and moved on from there. I'm transgender (any/all pronouns work just fine) and I strive to make my spaces as inclusive as I possibly can. I love providing a space in which people can explore themselves, whatever stage in their lives they might currently be in. I've led TTRPG groups and taught newcomers to play a variety of games, and my short fiction has been published twice. My greatest joy in life is telling and living stories. Heck, my first bachelor's is in storytelling! If you're the kind of person who wants a hand-crafted, well-paced and engaging story, then I'm your DM. I run trans-inclusive games, and I welcome all players regardless of identity so long as they agree to a basic foundation of kindness, generosity and mutual support of their fellow players. My tables are "yes, and" tables where everyone can feel empowered to contribute to the story and where everyone is enough.
GM Style
My games are RP heavy and I don't focus on combat except when it contributes to the story. I enjoy telling an immersive story which includes music, voices and compelling narrative. I strive to give every person at my table their own turn in the spotlight and to also include elements about my PC's characters that they want to bring to the fore. In short, I like to provide an immersive environment in which players can explore their characters and their relationship to the world, to each other, and to themselves. As I put in my "about me" section, I GM trans-inclusive games where identity is respected. I work hard to ensure that everyone at any one of my tables is there to build the story and to build up the other players as well. Kindness out of character is the rule of the day, every day. My main genre is Science Fiction, and though I will from time to time delve into fantasy, it isn't my main focus. Cyberpunk, Sci-Fi, Dystopian, and Urban Fantasy are where my interests lie.

Kitty's games are always super enjoyable and she does whatever she can to be flexible at a moments notice to make sure everyone is having a good time. She is down to earth and open to feedback. She's a great storyteller and does fun voices too. Can't go wrong with one of her games!

I've been playing with Wren for decades over multiple platforms. They have an emphasis on storytelling and world building and have a talent for details that make a world feel as lush and rich as a novel. As a woman and as a member of the LGBT+ community I've always felt completely safe at their table, even when learning a new system.

I have known & been gaming with Wren for many years, and she is a fantastic DM! Reliable. The GM ran a D&D 5e campaign that lasted 3 plus years and spanned levels one through seventeen plus. The custom setting was engaging and expansive. I always felt safe being able to role play.
