Hello there, I've been the forever DM running games for a few years in my friend group and recently have been branching out into running games for others online. I'm well acquainted with running D&D 5e with several homebrew elements from the Grim Hollow series from Ghostfire Games, the biggest feature allowing player transformations and I'm interested in running the Dark Souls the Roleplaying Game for any interested parties.

GM Style

When it comes to running games I like to put an emphasis on the player stories and will change details on my side to allow the story to flow much better. I mostly use theatre of the mind with the use of images, I prefer to allow player interaction to take the front stage while I organise the story to work around character moments and in the case of aggression between characters I prefer to take a moment to separate from the game to facilitate conversation to let players reach the best outcome for everyone. In terms of topics such as torturing NPCs or phobias such as body horror, I leave it to the players to bring forward what they would rather avoid and I will make it a priority to avoid situations that may be uncomfortable, however I will not facilitate sexual violence at all and although romantic interactions are left to players to decide in character (any scenes in the bedroom we will leave on a fade to black), I as the DM will not be running romance between players and NPCs.
