About Keiran - Dungeon Maestro

Hello there! My name is Keiran and I have been both player & Dungeon Master playing DND 5th edition for 10 years+. I had always been interested in DND and got my start as a nervous player learning the ins & outs before the interest in becoming a dungeon master took over and though some may see me as a 'Forever DM', I relish in being a dungeon master. I am a major creative writer and feeling the impact that stories have on us as individuals has always made my heart sing. And DND became the perfect creative outlet both as a writer but to create something with other people in the perfect collaboration of their creativity and to have stories both relevant and important for everyone is what drew me in deeper as a DM. No other moment in my DMing history made me understand this more than having a session where one of my players' characters returned to the ruins of his former home and defeating the foe that created this situation, unleashing his 'spirit guardians' for the first time and the PC had a personal moment with one of the ancestral guardians before the spell faded. The player afterwards told me that his family member had passed away who he was close with. And the funeral was the day before the session in question, the PC felt numb to it, but the moment with his character and the guardian allowed him to mourn in a powerful way, to where he was in tears and thanked me profusely for creating a world and situation that allowed him to both mourn and keep his family member with him. That moment proved that dnd is much more than a game. I want to continue creating wonderful things and fantastic moments for players new and old who wish to create stories and moments that are important to them. I hope that if you want me to run a game that I provide the best creative and most importantly fun experience possible!
