About Krissy
Hi! I’m Krissy! I’ve been playing TTRPGs for 10 years now, and have been GMing off and on for the past year. I have a passion for creating good stories with good people. I’m told that I am on the whimsy side as a GM (I love a prop for my NPCs), and love to reward engagement and creativity at the table. I love getting into character backstories and weaving that into the narrative or taking that into off-table RP in the form of journals, collaborative writing or text-based exchanges. I try to create an atmosphere as best as I can. I wanted to start hosting games because before I found my current group I really struggled to fill the creative void in my life that TTRPGs gives me. I’m a parent, and it was hard to find weird times and hours that would fit my life and schedule. I’m sympathetic to that, and since finding a regular group I realized how much it helps to have that outlet for myself, and it makes me a better person and parent!

How Krissy runs games
I do love role play, exploration, and combat. My goal is to hit all of these each session, but who doesn’t love a shopping episode? I love having wacky items that are discoverable. I’m not a rules monkey, and if you are and you’re nice about it we could probably get along. I’m not against you, I’m here to help you build a story that is satisfying and fun.
