About me

Greetings! My name is John and I've been playing D&D since 1982. With over 40 years of experience, I am adept at handling a multitude of situations in game. Since I believe in collaborative storytelling, we each have a hand in creating our adventure together. Whether you enjoy roleplay, combat, character development with tie-ins, or a little of each, we'll experience all of it together. I stay pretty close to the rules as written but do modify things here and there. I'm always prepared, yet I'm adept at adjusting on the fly. Ultimately, I strive for all of us to have fun, even when the PC's die. Tables are LGBTQIA+ inclusive, yet there are no politics or religion allowed at my tables. Well, that's not true. Have I told you about Asmodeus and how he's bringing order to chaos while holding countless thousands of demons at bay?

I love combat, not gonna lie. I try to run a challenging combat and play the monsters they way they're supposed to be. I love roleplay, so I will do voices, affectations, quirks. Some NPCs you will love. Some you will hate. It's all part of the plan. I'll add something personal to the characters into each and every campaign I run. Something in your backstory WILL show up. Ultimately, we are telling an epic tale together. We will celebrate victories. We will suffer defeats. We will mourn the loss of comrades. We will laugh like fools. We cheer in celebration.
