About me

Hey there, I'm Jens. I am a Game Master from Germany (we can play in German or English) and more than eager to provide you with a great game and a great story! Storytelling is one of my biggest passions. And so are TTRPGs in general. With over 12 Years as a Player and 11 Years as a GM, I know how to provide an immersive and engaging story. As a publisher of two independent RPGs, as well as a number of supplements I find myself now in the honorable position to provide you and your (new) friends with an epic adventure. However, it does not have to be "just" epic. As a business psychologist (per bachelors degree), I am qualified to identify the different expectations of every member of the group. In the end - of that I am certain - we will have a great group, an immersive story and a lot of fun playing the game. I prefer giving my NPCs voices, bringing PC-backgrounds into the story, and having a dynamic balance between preparation and guided improvisation. Now let's roll some dice :-)

GM Style

First things first, I like to adapt. Every table is different and every player brings their unique experiences and life to the table. That is great! But it also means, that - as a professional - I have to adapt to my players. That being said, there also a few things I prefer: I am a big on roleplaying and immersive storytelling. Bring your character to live. If you are shy, no problem. We will find a stage where you feel comfortable to try it. I like to give my NPCs different Voices and personalities. In order to improve I train myself, but also like to get feedback from my players. Combat should fit the group and their expectation. I am happy with both tactical or cinematic combat. In either case my goal will always be to make it feel important and pertaining to the story. Not just a random filler.
