About me

Hello! I am Jasmine, and I have been playing tabletop games for three years now and been a game master for two of them. I have taught a lot of new players how to play Dungeons & Dragons 5e and how to create their own custom character. I love playing tabletop roleplaying games because of how you can create epic stories, not only as a game master, but also as a player. You can adapt the rules as you feel fit and hang out with your friends at the same time. It's a win win! My GMing style is very roleplay heavy and I like when the game is challenging both the players and myself. This doesn't mean that I don't use fighting in my games, however, I use them more as a tool for storytelling. I love creating NPCs that each are unique in a realistic way. Each NPC has their own agenda and can't necessarily be judged whether they are good or evil at first glance. They also each have their own purpose in the world.

GM Style

I really enjoy the roleplaying aspect of the games and adding some gritty realism to it. We all start as common people who have a reason to start adventuring, whether it's because of a tough past or if it's for getting to know who you are as a character. My favorite genre is dystopia, but even if that is the case, I also provide happy moments, as life will always go up and down. Fighting is a part of the game, but I use fighting as a tool to enhance the roleplaying of the campaign rather than having it as the main act. Telling an interesting and unique story is very important to me and I love involving the story the players have to tell into the mix as well! I actively work with my players to develop their characters' stories in the main plot.
