About me
Where to start... I have been running games my whole life from a variety of sytems, from the deep dark of Sci-Fi to the high-magic lands of Fantasy. I have run modules and stories of my own creation, finding preference in the latter, and from this decided to spend most of my time as a Game-Master, pulling together those emotions and events for others to experience. As a GM, I live for a living world, lands marked by the actions of players whose legacies enter the mythology of those settings I run. Whether it be acts of heroism, creations of terrible power or legends of dark deeds, what takes place is never forgotten, every player granted a freedom to define themselves within my tales as they see fit.
GM Style
My GM Style is one of high Roleplay, lots of intrigue and creative freedom. I thrive off creating events in which players can solve however they wish, reacting as required to encourage free-form thinking. I voice my NPC's (though you may wince at some of the accents), and I am a big believer in music and sound effects to help create the scene. I create my own maps using a variety of different tools and flesh out my settings with intense detail to help bring to life the world we play in.

The worlds that Jacob creates are not his and his alone. Every player that has the opportunity to enjoy a game with Mr. Frings becomes part of the lore of his extensive and long running settings. Much like his universes, his voice work and the ambiance he creates are equally dynamic. His feminine voice is uncanny! Much like a graveyard, or the opposite of a lifeboat on the Titanic, he always has a space for you in his games. Top guy. Would recommend.

To say that Mr. Frings puts heart and soul into his games is an understatement of epic proportions. From voice to music and sound effects galore, he creates a fully immersive game and inspires one to bring the best game that they can. From his signature Dark Heresy games to his own creations in Pathfinder, his Midas touch is all encompassing. As I've told him in earnest, he would have to drag me kicking and screaming out of his games because I enjoy them so much. Fortunately, it hasn't come to that yet and I look forward to gaming with him as long as my Techmarine lives.
