About Izak Heaton
Hello! I have been playing and running TTRPG's for just over five years now. I enjoy introducing people to the hobby and have experience running a variety of play styles in DnD 5e. I love running homebrew campaigns focused on the characters my players bring into my world. I have experience running games for a variety of groups and play styles, and while not every group and game is going to fit everyone, I do my best to work with my players to set expectations of what aspects of gameplay a group will focus on so that I can meet those and help my players that do not want that type of game to find a group and game that does fit what they want.

How Izak Heaton runs games
My style is to be as focused on player choices as possible. I typically run homebrew settings and campaigns so that I can fit the story to the players' characters as much as possible. My favorite are roleplay heavy campaigns with fleshed out characters. I love stories of personal growth and change, so that is what I try to bring out in my games. But I also enjoy and have experience running combat heavy games where my players made characters as powerful as possible, or campaigns full of whimsy and joke characters. The type of game I run depends on the group I am running it for, it is player choice.
