After many campaigns with friends as the GM we were looking for someone who could add some suspense and fun into the stories while testing our knowledge and abilities of DnD. We were recommended to Iron through a local discord server. He was from the start very professional and asked a lot of questions to find out what sort of campaigns we had run in the past. The campaign he designed and ran kept us on our toes at all times and had us thinking of everything in our arsenal that we could use to get through the campaign. His knowledge and level of detail was something we learned to use going forward when creating future characters. Will definitely be keeping in touch for future campaigns and characters. His world building and ability to describe a room also allowed us to feel like we could envision it and make our next moves accordingly with a few surprises that had us laughing along the way.

IronLord is a knowledgeable DM to play with in D&D 5e. He's open to allowing a lot of player choice but will set firm boundaries on what he is willing to be used in a game once it starts. He always entertains creative solutions to problems. Iron enjoys when players come with unique backstories and character classes. I've enjoyed playing with him because he can shift from the loot goblin hack and slash playstyle to a more heavy RP style fairly easily. He is a good DM for players new to the 5e system because of his experience and knowledge with D&D in the past and the current system as it's been played.

This is definitely a “let the dice fall where they lay” DM who knows his rules but is not an AH about them. He will kill your PC if that’s what the dice say, but he also is awesome and letting you trying most anything. He is very blunt and straight forward which helps you know where he stands. He LOVES creativity and out of the box thinking.

When we decided to start learning on how to play DnD we felt out of our depth especially when it came to how be a DM to keep the games balanced but fun and interesting while allowing us to learn as we went along. We met iron lord through a friend after asking around to find someone who could help. We had explained what we were looking for in terms of what our knowledge and experience was which was pretty much none apart from what we learned online. Iron was understanding with this and during the campaigns we later started to run with him as our DM he was taking the time to explain the intricacies of the game as we went along and how each aspect of the game worked. He allowed us to be ourselves we felt included in every step of the campaign. The story he was telling in the campaign had us hooked when playing which often led to us playing over the time we had set per campaign session. The world even in words was descriptive and beautiful and had us able to visualize a very laid out world. He was inclusive of our beliefs and even tailored some of the campaign to make us feel included within the world and story being told. His knowledge for the rules helped the campaigns to just flow even when we were asking questions it just felt like it was all part of the story like we were just in a tavern gathering information. Will definitely be looking to have him DM for us more.

He keeps it fun. As someone that was pretty new to the game he helped me to understand the details.
