About me

Hello! I'm Michael, a 28 year old disabled neurodivergent (Dyspraxia). I've been a Game Master for TTRPGs for over 5 years and have been designing my own tabletop games for about 2 years under the name Innocentgoblin. I really enjoy running games for new players and have a lot of experience of easing people into a system. My current main games are DnD 5e and Doctor Who RPG 2e as well as a few other games. I have been running a home game using DnD 5e with the same group for over two years comprised of three campaigns in the same homebrew world and would be more than happy to provide testimonials from that main group! I love both campaigns full of complex RP and political intrigue or more comedic stories with a good touch of chaos! I have a background studying history, especially the Bronze Age, with a focus on the way different cultures interacted and the ways in which cultural memory and identity helped dictate real choices. I always strive to utilise this in my games to make them feel more real and lived in. I look forward to playing with you all!

GM Style

As a GM I love running games with a strong role play emphasis, I love getting deep into a character's motivations and leading them on a journey that will make them question who they are and what they stand for before finally standing up to who they truly and what they strive to be. I like to craft political intrigue and worlds that feel realistic within the settings. I enjoy combat to hit the perfect balance where the battle is tough but in a way that makes the players fell stronger for winning. I always root for my players in combat as I believe it is the GMs job to raise the players up rather than trying to bring them down (Unless for particular plot reasons). I am always down for the rule of cool, have a great or weird idea I am always excited to hear it!
