About me
Hello Players! I am Mark and I am a Dungeon Master with years of experience crafting stories and worlds for players to interact with and explore. I love tabletop games and I want to bring that passion to more players. I run games with a heavy narrative focus with player backstories interwoven with the main campaign. I put an emphasis on goal driven encounters while providing as much flexibility to players as possible to tackle encounters. If these sound like qualities you want to experience, consider joining me in adventure and taking on the world! …Or maybe a some goblins and a hag if thats more your speed.
GM Style
I run games with a heavy focus on story and an emphasis on goal driven encounters with as much flexibility to players to tackle the situation as they like. I also love helping new players or even experienced ones learn the game or try different things in D&D.

Mark introduced me to the world of D&D and I couldn't think of a better person to do so. Each party that I've been a part of with him as DM was full of more experienced players — and we all enjoyed our sessions. So whether you're a new player or seasoned, you'll find Mark to be incredibly imaginative, accommodating, and fun. He knows how to balance the goofy and the serious, he thrives off of feedback, and is a wealth of knowledge.
I've played in several of Mark's campaigns over the years. His world building and story creation are top notch. He's always well prepared, professional and fun. He does a great job of creating interesting and engaging NPCs with unique voices and personalities. Mark was my first GM, so I know that he can also do a great job of teaching the game to beginners. If you join one of his games, I'm confident that you'll have a great time!
I've been playing in Marks campaigns for a couple of years now and I enjoy every game! Mark has years of experience, impressive knowledge of the world of DnD, and a serious passion for story-building, AND storytelling. From funny interactions with NPCs that introduce realism into his games to spine tingling horror with good taste in maps and instrumentals. He creates incredible monsters, characters, NPCs, and universes, and his ability to enact an immersive scene and roleplay with NPCs fluently is a talent. He's also incredibly inclusive! I was new to DnD when I started his campaigns and he always asked the party if he wanted to tweak rules or add flavor. Hes also very conscious of the party and their boundaries. If youre looking to have a great time, I'd go with Mark.
Mark is an incredible and dedicated DM. Many times in his campaign, I've been impressed by how wild strings have come together into beautiful stories and how he allows his players to delve into their characters and derail his plans only to play right into a masterful plot point the next session. The interest Mark has in creating fun games for his players and himself is obvious during every session. Mark's sessions are immersive and relaxed. Especially with players keen on roleplaying every interaction, Mark responds with memorable NPCs and deep settings in a chill environment able to jump between emotional roleplay and joking out of character play comfortably. I've been playing D&D for three years now (and in Mark's campaign for two years) with many DMs, and have yet to find another DM able to run a session as naturally as Mark does. Mark is a DM all about character and story while running a RAW game with perfectly-balanced combat (seriously, idk how he keeps getting one hit from killing us so many times when we roll dice and monster HP above table). And he's a friendly person who's fun to talk nerdy character builds and theory to boot!
You’re gonna want to make notes as Mark is great at seeding hints, and info many sessions in advance long before you might even realise they become relevant. Alongside that He’s willing to work with the players to allow you to work into your goals; and brings in elements of each characters backstory when it’s fitting to do so… even if it so happens that your character ends up passing (RIP Flint) before it can come to completion; the next character’s backstory will be weaved in as well.
