Why did I want to start hosting games? I've always loved the power of stories and how they bring together people on a social and societal level, and fantasy has been one of my primary loves for years. Beginning when I was 18, I started the process of creating my own fantasy universe that has evolved over the course of the last decade. Having been fascinated by ttrpgs for years and now dipping my toes in the water, I know being a GM for this universe is the right course of action. I'm using my History major as the foundation, bringing in a complex understanding of how kingdoms and nation-states interact with and influence one another. I'm bringing in elements of archaeology and anthropology to this universe, and want to challenge players that the commonly told history of this event or this person may not be the full picture, because real history is about perspective as much as it is about the general facts.

GM Style

I *used* to be really good at voices. After a decade of letting that slide, I'd have to see if I can regain my skills, and I know there's a number of voices I can no longer do -- for example, used to do a pitch-perfect Mew voice, but now I can't. I love roleplaying scenes and want to create a table that has a healthy mix of roleplaying and combat.
