About me

I'm an oldschool dungeon master and game master starting from my youth in the 1980s. In the last 10 years, I've been privileged to publish over twelve adventures for Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG and associated games. I co-host the Spellburn podcast for DCC RPG and I've run hundreds of games at Gary Con, GENCON, Game Hole Con and more. I love to run RPGs and want to bring those games to new people all over the world. I love it when the rules, the players and/or the dice surprise us. That's what we game for!

GM Style

I like to keep things fast and loose. The emphasis will be on rulings, not rules. I want to help players succeed in having fun, but the dice sometimes also will dictate success and failure. Character death can happen, but it is not the end-- it is just the springboard to the next character or.. maybe even to where that character ends up next! I am physical, vocal and do not use VTTs-- it will all be theater of the mind and/or with a whiteboard for some basic visuals.
