About me

When I first became a GM, I was drawn in by the endless possibilities of the ttrpg experience. And after 6 years of hosting games, I've found there's no better way to get your creativity flowing with a group of mates. Game Hosting quickly went from a light hobby to an life mission for me. My personal quest: bring you a memorable and thoroughly entertaining game.

GM Style

I like to run a rules light, rule-of-cool kind of game. My games might lack in hard-crunch and tactical realism, but they will more than make up for it in humor, heart, and white-knuckle action. I'm great with character voices and role-playing. For the more daring adventurers: I have home-brewed a d20 system that adheres very closely to Dungeons and Dragons 5e but with more character customization and wider range of genre possibilities. All this to say, don't be surprised if you're fighting aliens with magic wands alongside a steam-punk-powered cow mech in this game.

Spencer is the perfect blend of following the rules of DnD and allowing the players to br creative in his stories. The session that always comes to mind was when our party finally found the main villain of the campaign. The villain had a powerful artifact that we had to get from him. At the end of the session, one member of our party talked them down and then stole the artifact when they were distracted. Our party member than teleported away and began to do evil things to their heart's content. Spencer ended the session at that point and talked with that player so they could work together to creste the best ending fight. It was my favorite campaign and Spencer has been my favorite DM.
