Just another GM out there, but one that may be perfect for you! Hello, I am Hek. I am an avid writer and storyteller. I've been a TTRPG player since 2012, adopting the DM lifestyle once I fell in love with DnD 5e. I run around 20 hours of game a week, using lore and narration to immerse people into the world of their characters. When I'm not running or preparing for a game, I like to stir the brain with story writing, improv practice, and novel reading. I am a big fan of High Fantasy, Horror, Steam-Punk, and of course, Drama! I take inspiration from fantasy literature, Anime, video games, and movies, making all my games and characters feel epic. I love the Rule of Cool and will find any opportunity to make your characters feel like the main protagonist.

GM style

I am committed to making each of your characters feel involved, having backstories and character flavor is a must in my tables! My GMing style is one that evolves every day and I strive to make every player feel comfortable and excited to play. I believe that a good story triumphs all, with player agency and character threads falling close behind. Players should feel free to explore and make interesting decisions that determine the story end. Roleplay is my greatest enjoyment but I also enjoy cinematic combat with difficulty that scales with the player's experience. Newer players can relax and learn the mechanics against low-level threats while experienced players can battle homebrew monsters in high-stake thrillers! I do descriptions and voices when applicable, but I always welcome the player's input to make the session a collaborative game.
