About me

My name is HedgeDog or simply Hedge. My pronouns are He/Him. I've been DM'ing 2 weekly campaigns for several years, as well as multiple one-shots for both my regular players and others. I'm a father in my 30's and I've always had a soft spot for D&D, having played it in high school some 20 years ago, but only recently rediscovered my passion for storytelling. I have experience DM'ing for LGBTQ+ folks and keep my language appropriate. Absolutely no gatekeepers allowed. My main focus is my players. I'm not here to tell you what your story is going to be. I don't have a hidden agenda. It's not Me vs. You. My role is to know the world you are in, the people who inhabit it, what their motives are for doing what they do, all to better enable you to be as creative as possible. Instead of asking to roll dice, try telling me in plain English what you want to do and I will translate that into dice rolls! If you're a new player looking to get into D&D, look no further! Did your previous free DM's drop the ball? Not me. This is a paid experience because it's worth it!

Balanced. My intention is to provide you, the player, as much agency as possible. Do you want to beat the information needed to locate the lost sheep out of every farmer you meet? I mean I won't stop you. You forge your own path in the story, be it in handshakes or blood. Every story has combat and diplomacy planned out, but whether or not you choose these options is up to you!
