I played the Curse of Strahd campaign with Colton. I'm still new to the world of D&D, and they were a great DM to play with. Contol has a deep understanding of D&D rules while, remaining open to players' creative input. Their balancing of structure and flexibility made the games a lot of fun. Additionally, they put so much effort and care into their sound effects and visual aids. It makes the experience even better. Finally, Colton makes the games an inclusive and welcoming space by using various rules and mechanisms. Overall, Colton is a top-tier DM, and I can't wait for their next adventure.

Colton is an exceptional Game Master. I had the privilege of playing in a Curse of Strahd game that they ran, and it is responsible for re-igniting my love of TTRPGs. It was at their suggestion that I run games through SPG, and it has frankly changed my life for the better. I have since run nearly 100 games on the platform and I want to use this review to persuade you to join their games. I’m going to bullet point the reasons why I think that they are a superb GM, but will go into more detail below: -Incredible character performances and voice work -Great use of player aids -Encourages character depth and development -Comprehensive understanding of the setting and the rules Colton has a talent in making characters come alive. The performance of their characters is realistic and engaging; their vocal talents shine here, as each character feels distinct when they begin speaking. As a result, it is quite easy to become attached to their characters, and fuels the immersion of the storytelling. They strike a great balance in the use of player aids, providing atmospheric visuals and suitable BGM. These aids have been chosen, crafted, and implemented with great consideration for the player’s experience of them and this greatly contributes to the premium quality of the gaming experience. Colton encourages player characters to have substantial depth at character creation; this works well with their approach to characters and helps your character feel like a member of a larger world. They are also quite accommodating and helpful when it comes to designing your character, and this facilitates the type of character growth that their game encourages. If their roleplaying competencies weren’t enough, they have a deep knowledge of D&D 5e and the settings of their games. Not only are their roleplaying encounters engaging, but their combats are challenging and satisfying. Colton brings the full D&D experience to the table here and is a fantastic GM for players who want to experience everything that this wonderful hobby offers. I give Colton my strongest recommendation.
