How Chris Tang runs games
I mix voice acting and foley sounds to create an immersive gaming experience. That being said, I always recommend you roleplay to your comfort level. You do not have to "do a voice" and you don't have a to have a long backstory. On the rules side of things, I don't always ask for rolls but I do follow the official rules typically by the book. Sessions I design always have a mix of the three pillars: combat, exploration, and social encounters. I allow expansion content as well as balanced homebrew.
