Professional Game MasterGMikeYhe/him
Bringing to the table 42 years of tabletop role-playing and stage (and film) acting experience, I've been running games professionally for the past three or four years. In 2014, I wrote and published the Savage Kingdoms, a gritty sword-and-sorcery themed RPG now entering its 3rd edition with the brand-new core rulebook coming out in mere weeks. I also run D&D 5e professionally for afterschool students (and occasionally for adults as well), though I, admittedly, prefer ever so slightly my own SK game. But medieval fantasy is my jam, as the kids once said, so pretty much any game system delving into such epic worlds appeals to me.
Immersive roleplay is my meat and potatoes, usually with myriad character voices and dialects honed from numerous years as a professional stage and film actor. Employing, also, various storytelling techniques such as pacing, resonance, and upbeats and downbeats, I also - as a former medieval reenactor and martial artist - enjoy the grit, grim, and excitement of medieval fantasy combat. In a nutshell, my GMing style is highly improvised, though based on a strong structure of my own super-detailed setting and the backgrounds of the player-characters involved.
