About me
I’ve always enjoyed content creation, from making my characters backstories for games when I am a player, to creating worlds and stories as a GM(Or just for myself for fun). You can normally find me watching movies, listening to music or gaming to find inspiration in my next session.
GM Style
I've been a player for +8years and a GM for +5 years. I focus more on Roleplaying and discovery than Combat but leave combat as an option rather than a fixed thing you have to do. Sometimes you can talk/threaten your way out of a fight. If you prefer Homebrew Campaigns that last over a year or longer than doing a Pre-made Adventure then I am your GM. I focus on Narrative storytelling, with every character that you met having their own story. While we still follow the rules of Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition, I am a bit looser on some of the rules, if it's cool, chances are I'll let it slide. I focus on bringing a world to life with Character Voices and backstories for every NPC you meet. Story leads can be found anywhere and everywhere, you just need to ask the right questions.

The game run for our group was really enthralling, working creatively to build character backstory in with an overall storyline, and interweaving player actions into the world building aspect. The blend of these features had a large emotive impact on the entire playing group, letting us move through a range of emotions, as it felt like every action we completed had an everlasting impact on both each other and the world we were collaboratively building together. This GM Is great in the way that they host their games, able to listen and communicate with their players in such a way, that an outcome is always reached. The influences of different themes, mini games and genres that they can weave seamlessly into one story speaks to heights of which their passion allows players the best possible experience into the whole of tabletop gaming. As both a new player and experienced, the subtle touches and personalisations are made to individualise your experience as both your character and you as a player. This GM will help to really make your time immersing yourself into these worlds of fantasy, of mateship, adventure of good vs evil, of emotional highs and impactful lows the best it could possibly be. Our group personally had such a impactful emotional connection to our characters and the world built around them, that we at several occasions, decided to get fan art created, and to cosplay as these characters at comic book conventions. If there is anything I could possibly say, to leave a final statement about just how great of a GM they are is that, Once you play in a group with them, you will have made friends for a lifetime, had characters grow and attach to your very soul to the point that Your fighter barbarian will always be a part of you. I can honestly say that agreeing to play in a game with them was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life, and I would encourage anyone else who is looking to jump in with both feet. Move over matt mercer effect, The Cam effect is taking over.
I have played with Cam as a DM for over two years. He is a great story teller and listens to his players. I wasn't (and still not where I want to be) an RPer. Cam involved me in the story bringing me in at my comfort level and didn't push. He was the DM for my 1st campaign and would 100% would use him again.
Since start of campaign to now, every session has been very visual and well-described so that everyone is well invested into the story, even if the genre-accurate 'oh lawd' things happen. Easy to talk to, and work with for games and characters. When party comes to countering points, there is a point where intervention is required; and it happens, and generally clears up the confusion (at least so that other people can then work and clear it up from there).
I have been a player for DM Cam for over 2 years (in a campaign which is still ongoing) Cam was the first real DM to introduce me to 5e (not including the murder hobo fest that was Adventure League) and I couldn’t have had a better introduction. He took the time to go over the rules, but allows us flexibility to try things/ play with our characters abilities and isn’t afraid of homebrew once we got more comfortable. There are 2 things that he does really well, 1) creating an immersive world with an engaging story. 2) Letting players have a degree of agency and creative license over that story. When I started this campaign, all I had was the barest idea of playing an elf and liking the idea of being able to shape shift (because Druids rule). Cam helped create this into a real character and then let me run while with the how’s and the whys. The stories are complex and engaging, and after 2 years I know I sound crazy when I try to explain everything about our current campaign to someone outside of it, and we even have a quote channel in our discord which I go back and reread to reminisce over craziness and fun memories. Cam gives all players a chance to have their character moments, and to Role-play and see characters change and develop together. Combat occurs but it’s meaningful, and he does a brilliant job of making everyone’s characters tie into the tapestry of the world. Really would 1000X recommend DM Cam because it’s a fully immersive story, respectful play and a fantastic time. (More than worth the session cost)
