About me

I've been playing TTRPGs off and on since I received the original Earthdawn handbook as a gift when I was 12. I spent countless hours reading the D&D 3.5 rule books, creating worlds, and imagining all of the adventures my friends and I would go on. Of course, that was a lot easier than convincing them to play! I'm a lifelong fantasy and science-fiction reader, from Dragonlance and Lord of the Rings to Dune and Foundation, and writers like R.A. Salvatore, Lovecraft, and Brandon Sanderson. I'm currently reading The Stormlight Archive series by Sanderson, which is great so far. Everyone is welcome in my games and I am very beginner-friendly. I'm happy to explain how to play, even if you've never played a single session of a TTRPG. Looking forward to playing with you!

GM Style

My GM style focuses on setting and immersion, but is fairly roleplay light. I'll incorporate your character backstory into the campaign as much or as little as you wish, and I'll tailor the game and each session to the unique playstyles of the players. Whether that means you want to scour the world of every left-handed goblin or prefer to found a large mercantile conglomerate supplying the kingdom with the finest of ass-less chaps. In order to set expectations, if you want complex, multi-layered first-person roleplay with NPCs, I may not be the right GM for you, as it's probably the weakest aspect of my GMing. I am by no means an actor. That said, I strive to provide every player with meaningful choices and gameplay they enjoy, whether that's exploration, combat, roleplay, and even epic loot for the loot goblins, may Tymora bless them.
